Influenza Season and COVID-19 Response

Medpods Medical Centre North Lakes and Complete Care Doctors, Brisbane, QLD now offer influenza vaccination

According to Queensland Health, Flu season in Queensland is typically from June to September, with the peak usually in August. The timing of vaccination should aim to achieve the highest level of protection during the peak of the influenza season.

Vaccinating from April provides protection before the peak season takes place. While protection is generally expected to last for the whole season, the best protection against influenza occurs within the first 3 to 4 months following vaccination.

Superclinic Midland and Complete Care Doctors will offer COVID-19 Vaccines

Superclinic Midland and Complete Care Doctors are participating in Australian Government's COVID-19 Vaccination Phase 1b rollout program. Both clinics will offer Astrazeneca vaccines to eligible individuals by appointment.
